The best way to understand our gin is to drink it where it is made. The Rare Orchid cellar door sits beside the stills in Landsborough, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, with a quiet outlook onto the neighbouring nature reserve.

What's pouring

Gin flights across the full range, including the trophy winners, poured and guided by the people who made them. Classic gin and tonics built the way we think they should be, and tastings that walk you through every botanical in the glass.

From Brisbane: around 75 minutes north on the Bruce Highway, exit at Steve Irwin Way and follow the signs to Landsborough. From the Sunshine Coast: take the Landsborough exit and turn into the Corporate Place industrial estate before the railway crossing. Landsborough station is a 15 minute walk, and Australia Zoo is five minutes up the road, so the distillery pairs perfectly with a day trip.

Opening hours

Saturday 12pm to 5pm. Friday and Sunday by appointment. Monday to Thursday closed.
The venue is also available for private functions, subject to minimum spend.
